Curator and Creative Director
Terrel Dawkins
Terrel Dawkins is the host of the Truth and Legacy Podcast and a multifaceted creative entrepreneur who merges storytelling, social insight, and cultural pride. As the face of Black Brilliance on the Rooftop, Terrel anchors the event in authenticity and lived experience, driving its voice, message, and energy. His leadership in shaping the event’s themes and visual tone helps bridge the brilliance of legacy with the power of now. On stage and behind the scenes, Terrel ensures the vibe is real, intentional, and unforgettable.
Executive Producer and Project Director
An Air Force veteran and the visionary behind 3rd Star Resource and Consulting Group LLC, Crystal brings leadership, precision, and deep strategy to every initiative she leads. With a background in government contracting and technical operations, she brings a unique blend of creative vision and executional discipline to cultural experiences that build legacy and impact. As Executive Producer of Black Brilliance on the Rooftop, Crystal orchestrates each layer of the event, from logistics and budgeting to partnership strategy and production timelines, ensuring that every moment uplifts the community it serves.


Social Media & Marketing Director
Mimi is the owner of Mimi Industry and the Creative Strategist for the Truth and Legacy Podcast. As a branding expert, she shapes how the world sees Black Brilliance, from curated social posts to real-time content strategy and post-event rollouts. She leads with intention, creativity, and digital storytelling that elevates visibility, amplifies voices, and builds authentic community across platforms. Her work ensures the energy of the event lives well beyond the night.
Event Coordination Director
Delilah is the co-owner of The Pretty Little Decor Company, a boutique event design brand known for transforming venues into visual masterpieces. Her eye for texture, layout, and ambiance turns the rooftop into a culturally rich, elegant experience. With a deep love for creative detail and a commitment to client-centered design, Delilah ensures the look and feel of the event matches its vision of brilliance, legacy, and celebration.


Event Design Director
Courtney is a co-owner of The Pretty Little Decor Company and a dynamic local real estate agent whose creative sensibilities and logistical mindset make him a powerhouse in event execution. With a knack for flow, space, and visual balance, he supports staging, design setup, and layout transitions throughout the evening.
Courtney’s combined experience in design and community-building makes him a vital link in ensuring Black Brilliance is both beautiful and intentional.
Videography & Photography Director
Terique is the founder of Terique Armani Photography, capturing moments with an artistic lens and culturally focused eye. His work blends documentary authenticity with visual poetry, offering guests a timeless archive of the night’s brilliance. At Black Brilliance on the Rooftop, Terique captures not just what happened, but what it meant. His stills and videos create a legacy of images that reflect the power and pride of the community.
